We are looking for as soon as possible you as Trainee (m_f_d) for our Accounting & Controlling. The location is at our German headquarters in Eschborn near Frankfurt am Main and can also be carried out from the home office on certain days after consultation.
As an accounting trainee (m_f_d), we will train you to become our next manager so that you can take over the management of your own accounting team. In “training on the job” you will get to know the tools in the entire accounting area and take on a wide range of tasks in order to become familiar with all functions, processes, management perspectives, guidelines and working methods within the accounting department and our internal departments at the head office as well as our regional administrations . Tailored training sessions and regular feedback discussions are an additional guarantee of your success.

Tasks
Main duties and responsibilities (among others):
- Participation in monthly and annual financial statements
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Analysis of deviations in the cost area
- Process analysis and optimization
- Participation in forecasts
- Processing travel expense reimbursements
- Processing commissions
- Participation and support in tax-related tasks and reports
- Support of the branches and departments and their contact persons
- Contact person for our customers and suppliers
Qualifications
To successfully apply for this position, the following minimum requirements should be met:
- Completed degree in economics or business administration (ideally with a focus on accounting/taxes/finance) preferred; alternative comparable qualification through completed commercial training and several years of professional experience
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German
- good written and spoken English knowledge
- Confident use of the MS Office package, especially Excel
