All trains between Brussels and London and between Paris and London were initially canceled until at least 6 p.m. Four trains on their way had to return to their departure station, Eurostar reported via X. Travelers were advised to postpone their journey.
Towards the evening it became known that the other scheduled Eurostar trains to Paris and London this evening would no longer run. Eurostar staff announced via megaphones in Paris’ Gare du Nord that all trains scheduled for Thursday had been canceled.
The strike led to “the complete interruption of service and the closure of our terminals in France and the United Kingdom,” tunnel operator Getlink said.
