Malaysian singer Xu Jialing was killed by one of her fans, who monitored her for two years before carrying out his crime.
Xu Jialing, 26 years old, accepted the fan’s invitation to have lunch at a restaurant, and an argument broke out between them during that interview, which did not go well.
The 44-year-old fan waited until he left the restaurant with Xu Jialing, then took out a knife and stabbed her 8 times in the chest, back and heart, before putting her in his car and heading to his house.
The police received a report from a woman who saw the man accompanied by the body of Xu Jialing, and their house was raided, where the singer was found dead in the front seat of the car, while the fan tried to save his life with the same knife, causing severe injuries to himself.
The fan kept repeating that he was the singer’s fiancé while the police were arresting him before taking him to a hospital for treatment under heavy security.
The incident shocked the young singer’s family, as she was waiting to celebrate her wedding to her fiancé in 2024, while her relatives confirmed that the killer fan had no personal relationship with her.
