In the company’s monitor menu Samsung a new model of the ViewFinity S9 series appears. His name is ViewFinity S95UC and it is an ultra-wide-angle model with an aspect ratio of 32:9 and a 49″ diagonal. The panel is of the VA type, so it will offer a high contrast of 3000:1. As for the resolution, it is 5120×1440 pixels. The typical brightness is 350 nits, however it also supports HDR and boasts the DisplayHDR 400 standard. It also offers a significant curvature of 1000R, supports 10-bit colors (1.07 billion shades) and covers 92% of the DCI space. Interestingly, it supports high frequencies of 120 Hz, however, according to the data, no synchronization is supported technology, which is a shame. The monitor is more focused on work and productivity than gaming, but the monitor does have gaming modes including profiles for RPG, RTS, FPS and sports games.
We can find PIP and PBP functions, there is also a KVM Switch. There is one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports. USB-C 3 with 90W PD support is also available, and an Ethernet connection is also supported. Two 5W speakers are responsible for the sound system.
