LG Electronics has shown a 32″ monitor that can switch between a high resolution or a high refresh rate. With a button at the bottom of the screen, users can choose between 4k at 240Hz and 1080p at 480Hz.
In addition to the Dual-Hz function, this LG Ultragear 32GS95UE OLED monitor also has a so-called Pixel Sound technology, let LG know. This should ensure that sound can be produced by the vibrations of the film layer on the OLED display. This should allow audio to be delivered directly from the monitor, instead of through speakers that are usually located behind or next to the screen. In addition, the manufacturer promises a response time of 0.03ms.
LG is also showing the first 39-inch OLED monitor, the curved 39GS95QE with a 3440×1440 resolution. The manufacturer is also introducing two curved 45″ OLED monitors with the same number of pixels as the 39″ model, and a 27″ screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Further information about the monitors, such as price and release date, has not yet been announced. This information is expected to be announced during the CES trade fair will be unveiled early next year.
