Actress Michaela Kuklová played a princess or a damsel in distress in several fairy tales. Although she fondly remembers the filming of the fairy tales From the Hell of Happiness and About Princess Jasmine and the Flying Shoemaker, she experienced a number of very dangerous moments on them. She even injured herself several times.
The fairy tales of the director Zdenek Troška are full of adventure, which the actress Míša Kuklova enjoyed. “If I get to remembering fairy tales, I think of them with love, of course, because it was a wonderful filming. All the filming with Zdenek Troška was simply about a wonderful atmosphere, great fun and a wonderful team,” confided the actress.
But it was not always so rosy in front of the camera, the actors often experienced the danger firsthand. “Except for the fact that he always tortured us somehow in those fairy tales, both in Princess Jasmine and in From the Hell of Luck,” Kuklová laughed.
It was in the fairy tale About Princess Jasněnka and the Flying Shoemaker that the actress suffered several injuries. When the witches tortured her as a kidnapped princess, they took it a little seriously. “We were always climbing around fires, it was quite challenging. Then, of course, Helenka Růžičková and Yvettka Blanarovičová as witches, those girls also gave me a hard time.” revealed the representative of Jasněnka.
The worst thing for her was in the starvation room, where she was supposed to be locked up with the witches. “Yvette was still kicking things in various ways. Then she kicked the skull, it rebounded and hit me in the head, so she chopped it open,” the actress recalled.
In addition, she cut herself badly in her prison. “Because the whole slush was unclean, probably from tramps. There was a lot of glass, so I was cut all over my body, so they disinfected it. It was exciting, but I enjoyed it.” Kuklová added.
