The Tigres of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León have established an undesirable record in the history of Mexican soccer, by accumulating the greatest number of expulsions in matches corresponding to the Liga MX Finals

The triple expulsion in the 2023 Apertura Final, played at the Azteca Stadium, left Tigres with a bitter record. Raymundo Fulgencio, Nahuel Guzmán and Luis Quiñones were the protagonists of this event, seeing the red card by referee Adonai Escobedo.
