A massive reinforced concrete advertising banner threatens to fall
Before four o’clock this afternoon, several units of firefighters went to the Rokycanská shopping center in Pilsen, from where it was reported that a huge reinforced concrete advertising banner standing between the gas station and the shopping center was in danger of falling. The area around the heavy metal structure, which apparently bent due to a strong gust of wind, was closed off for safety reasons and police officers are monitoring it.
“We are working on the spot, another technique is on the way and an advertising banner will be secured,” the spokesman for the fire department told us, adding that the work is still ongoing, so it is not possible to provide more information.
