Most people expect Christmas presents to be delivered by a jolly Santa Claus in a red suit or elves to have hidden a bag of presents under the tree. But in Bristol, Great Britain, the police will have to become Santa Claus – they found a stolen car full of wrapped gifts, reports the portal Metro.
On December 13, a car was reported missing from a house in Redfield, Bristol. 40 minutes later it was spotted driving through the Stockscroft area. The stolen car was stopped and the man and woman in it were arrested.
Police officers also found several wrapped Christmas presents in the car, which they believe were also stolen, possibly from other cars in the parking lot. Most of the gifts were labeled “Debbie and Lee” or from “Sarah, Rich, Max, and Joe.”
Police are asking for the local community’s help in returning stolen Christmas presents to their rightful owners. The police have published a photo of the gift, inviting those who own it to come forward.
