PSV’s high-profile winger had to miss twelve of the Eindhoven team’s last thirteen matches due to a muscle injury. The 24-year-old Lang last played on November 25, when he came on as a substitute for fifteen minutes during the 0-3 away win over FC Twente. The Capellen resident then had to deal with a relapse.

Lang is now making himself heard via Instagram. “The last eleven weeks have been mentally tough, but I will be back when God allows and I promise you that they are not ready,” said the ten-time international of the Dutch team.
Lang is still very active on social media. In recent days, the erratic right leg could be seen throwing presents at his teammates to thank them for 2023. For example, he gave PSV player Ismael Saibari an expensive bottle of alcohol as a gift. When Lang then realized that Saibari does not drink, he gave an unknown item from Louis Vuitton to the Moroccan international.

Via X, journalist Rik Elfrink from the Eindhovens Dagblad also comes with a report about Lang. “As mentioned, Noa Lang can train fully again at PSV. It is not impossible that he will return to the selection tomorrow (Thursday, ed.). Lang can certainly join the training camp in Spain in January.” PSV will take on FC Twente at home in the TOTO KNVB Cup on Thursday evening.
Lang may therefore be able to play for PSV again this calendar year. The youth product of Ajax and Feyenoord came over from Club Brugge this summer for at least 12.5 million euros. Since then, the counter has reached fourteen official matches for the Brabant leader, in which Lang scored five goals and acted as a referee once.
In any case, 2023 will go down as a special year for Lang. The left winger became a father for the first time in April. He immediately announced his son’s name via Instagram: Navy Livai Lang.
