In the case of the young women Thalía Cornejo and Marco López, a body mass was held in attendance.

On the night of December 16 and early morning of December 17, armed men arrived at the San José del Carmen Exhacienda where they attacked the attendees of an inn in Salvatierra, Guanajuato.
