“Russia is not interested in negotiations,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
He stated that currently the issue of negotiations with Russia is not relevant, the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN reported.
The Green leader said this at his annual press conference in Kyiv.
As reported by a UNIAN correspondent, the Ukrainian president made this statement in response to a question about when and under what conditions negotiations could take place.
“We have the Peace Formula. It is currently the only platform that works. The last meeting in Malta did not go badly at all. Almost 80 countries participated. The next meeting will be in Switzerland. Within the forum or as part of the economic forum there will be a segment , dedicated to security,” noted Zelensky.
The Ukrainian leader said that he would like representatives from all continents to take part in the meeting in Switzerland, so that there could be “80 countries or even more”, the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported, as quoted by BTA.
Zelensky stressed that “no one is chasing a number, but nevertheless the number of participants is important, as it is indicative of the political or geopolitical isolation of the politics of the Russian Federation.”
