President of Sport guarantees that Enzo Vágner was invited by Benfica
Enzo Vágner, son of Vágner Love, will undergo tests at the Benfica Campus, to try to convince those responsible for the Reds to stay at Luz. The news was announced by Yuri Romão, president of Sport, the emblem to which the young man is linked.
It was on the CastFC podcast that the leader of the Brazilian club stated that the 17-year-old striker was “invited” by the Eagles to show his service. This comes after having faced Benfica’s under-19s, in November, in the Algarve Cup. “He’s talking about Love, his son, he was invited to Benfica, he should go and do some tests. But he has a contract with Sport, yes”, Yuri Romão publicly announced.
Vágner Love seeks to follow in the footsteps of his father, who was also a striker and played several seasons at CSKA Moscow and also had spells at Monaco, Alanyaspor and Besiktas, among other clubs.
