NFL Suspension Drama: Tom Brady Blames Quarterbacks for Violent Hits – Latest News on Damontae Kazee’s Suspension

The suspension against Damontae Kazee is currently keeping the NFL in suspense. The league recently suspended the Pittsburgh Steelers safety for the remaining three games for his hit on the head of Michael Pittman Jr. of the Indianapolis Colts.

But despite this violent tackle, a critical voice is now emerging that is looking for blame elsewhere. “Quarterbacks should not throw the ball into areas where they expose their own teammates to such hits,” ex-quarterback Tom Brady railed against Colts QB Gardner Minshew on his social media channels.

Once in a rage, the superstar immediately follows up. “Constantly blaming the defender is completely wrong. “It needs better QB play!” says the three-time MVP.

That’s why he urges his position colleagues “that your wide receivers don’t have to take such a hard hit because of your poor decisions.” The coaches also have to make sure of this, as they have to train the quarterbacks better.

The 46-year-old is repeating his criticism that he expressed in his podcast during his playing days in the NFL. “If you are a quarterback, you have to protect yourself and your teammates. “It shouldn’t be your opponent’s responsibility to protect you,” he criticized back then.
