Sweden defeated Switzerland 4–2 in the warm-up before the JVM.
Then Liam Öhgren scored 5–2 in extra time.
– We decided a little before, he says in SVT.
It wasn’t much entertainment that Sweden and Switzerland offered in the training match in Ängelholm ahead of the upcoming JVM at home.
The junior crowns, which among other things were missing Axel Sandin Pellikka, won 4–2 after Felix Unger Sörum put the nail in the coffin in an open box 28 seconds from the end.
Before that, David Edstrom had scored two goals on the power play in the first period. Sweden had a total of 3-0 before the Swiss made two quick ones in the third period.

Won twice
Because the teams wanted to sharpen their form a little extra, they also played an extra time after regular playing time. There Liam Öhgren scored 5–2.
– It was an extension that wasn’t really supposed to be an extension. We decided a little before. But nice to be able to score and that we got to test three-on-three as well, says Öhgren in SVT.
Next up is a new training match against the USA the day after tomorrow before the championship begins on December 26 against Latvia.
– This will be good until the actual championship starts, says Öhgren.
