2023 was a fantastic year for gamers, with many top players crossing our path. However, 2024 seems to be another very strong year, with quite a few big games planned. Today we survive in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl should normally have been released in 2023, but this sequel to a cult game was somewhat delayed for understandable reasons. After all, developer GSC Game World was located in Ukraine, which of course makes development a lot more difficult. But even a fire and a hack did not stop the developer from persevering and so we can normally get started with STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl in the first quarter of 2024.
The release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been a long time coming. It was already announced in 2018 – somewhat prematurely – that the game would be released in 2021, but it would take until 2021 before we saw the first real images. This is the third time that the game has appeared in this special series.
Fortunately, since then we have seen more trailers and fans of the first part can finally get excited for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
