The marriage that gave birth to Jasmína (15) and Dan (17) is over. It was speculated that Jane’s busy schedule while she was the government spokesperson was behind the breakdown of the relationship Andrej Babiš (69). But in an interview for eXtra.cz Adamcová refuted. A number of factors are said to have played a role. „You know, the scissors somehow opened up, the age difference took its toll on our relationship. Also the fact that I’m a submissive type to a certain extent and I can put up with things for a long time,” said the presenter.
Inoperative for 10 years
Adamcová had known for about 10 years that the marriage was not working. But it was not possible to suffer in silence forever. “I understood that I have to fight a little for myself and for how I feel. Even now, recently, some things that I was carrying were still catching up, so I fell into depression. But luckily it’s behind me now” she added bluntly.
3 years of separation
Despite all the difficulties, life with Adamec was not bad. That is why Jana hesitated for so long to leave. “Inside I knew that I was at odds with a lot of things, that it wasn’t me and that they didn’t suit me. I know that maybe if I had dealt with those things earlier, maybe the separation wouldn’t have happened,” Adamcová confided. The couple have been living separately for about 3 years, but the divorce will not take place in the foreseeable future.

Suffering in a golden cage?
“I appreciated the way I live, how everything is fine,” said Adamcová. Although she lived in a luxury that many of us don’t even think about, she was not happy. Adamec has a lot of real estate. He owns a villa on Hanspaulka, several apartments in Prague’s Dejvice and a terraced house where the family lived together. Although the director calls the private a shepherdess, she offered the family all the luxuries. Regular trips to Florida, where the couple also own real estate, were no exception. But even that was not enough for the marriage to last and the family to stay together.
