It’s time to organize the end of year celebrations. The association of the Comité de Castelginest en fête is currently making preparations for the big New Year’s Eve evening.
The big evening is eagerly awaited. Each edition has been a great success, always sold out. This year, the evening will be hosted by a DJ and a duo made up of a guitarist and a singer from a large Toulouse orchestra.
Festive evening for New Year’s Eve
The event will still take place this December 31 at the Joséphine Baker multipurpose room. Members of the local festive association have already composed the menu that will be offered. As an aperitif, guests will be offered a planter fruit juice cocktail, 4 canapes, and mini-bites of Roquefort cream and a seasonal verrine. As a starter, they will then be served a larded poultry ballottine, a heart of foie gras, and mesclun walnut oil. As a first fish dish, a salmon steak with virgin sauce will be offered. The Gascon hole, with green apple and Armagnac ice cream, will delight fans before the arrival of the second hot dish, which will be a guinea fowl fondant stuffed with chestnuts in morel sauce with bundles of green beans and gratin dauphinois. A Midi-Pyrénées cheese platter composed of Roquefort, Cabécou and Tomme des Pyrénées will satisfy even the most gourmands. To finish, a special New Year’s dessert will be served. Mineral water, coffee, IGP Gaillac red, rosé and white wine drinks will be included. Champagne, on the other hand, is not included in the price (bottle at €30 with glassware).
