The Carrefour food chain has announced that it is returning to the Czech Republic. People will be able to buy his goods in JIP stores.

The chain established cooperation with the Czech company JIP východčeská, which operates JIP, Cash&Carry grocery stores and the Plus JIP franchise. The French retail chain Carrefour operated in the Czech Republic 20 years ago. He announced his withdrawal from the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the second half of 2005. He had 11 hypermarkets in the Czech Republic and four in Slovakia. All were taken over by Tesco.
