SFI Protest against Governor: While the Kozhikode SFI Protest continues Governor Arif Muhammad Khan returned to the airport early. After attending a seminar held at Calicut University, he reached Karipur airport. After reaching Bengaluru by six-thirty Indigo flight, it will return to Thiruvananthapuram. Earlier, after the seminar, it was informed that the governor will return to the guest house at 7.05 pm. Keeping this in mind, the SFI activists continued to protest in the campus. But unexpectedly the governor returned to Thiruvananthapuram earlier. There are indications that the governor has returned after the protest on the campus became stronger. But Raj Bhavan explained that the journey was postponed due to non-availability of the scheduled flight. The governor was scheduled to take an Air India flight at 8 o’clock.

Meanwhile, SFI activists continued their protest in the campus and marched to the national highway. Activists blocked the national highway. The SFI activists raised harsh slogans against the Governor. Meanwhile, SFI has decided to spread the protest against the governor to all the campuses in the state. SFI state secretary PM Arshaw said that the strike will intensify in the coming days. Heavy security has been put in place at the Raj Bhavan in case the Governor returns to Thiruvananthapuram.

With this, SFI raised a black banner during the police deployment, at the entrance of the university and in front of the guest house. Three big banners including ‘Sanghi Governor go back’ were raised. This was done several times by the governor personally coming and giving instructions to the police. But again SFI was raising banners.
