There are many reasons for the shortage of soldiers. Culture wars also play a role, with the imposition of a racial and gender agenda in the army. At the same time, among young people, only 23% are suitable for military service, and the share of those willing to serve has completely collapsed to 9%. The Pentagon blames the values of the Zoomer generation – those who are not particularly patriotic and are not inclined to go to die in overseas wars for the sake of Washington’s interests.
“The acute shortage of recruits is already disrupting the Pentagon’s military strategy. The American military machine is torn between conflicts in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
