The Directorate of Education in Giza announced the schedules for the first semester “mid-year” exams for the academic year 2023/2024, for all educational levels, after their approval by Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza.
The first semester exam schedules for all educational levels in Giza Governorate are as follows:
Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, approved the “mid-year” dates for the 2023/2024 academic year, according to the following dates: –
First, the primary stage:
The second and third grades of primary school start from Tuesday, January 9, until Wednesday, January 10, 2024
The fourth and fifth grades of primary school (one year, one semester, and blind) and the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh grades (deaf and hard of hearing) start from Saturday, January 6, until Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Sixth grade of primary school (one year, one class, blind) and eighth grade (deaf and hard of hearing) starts from Saturday, January 13, until Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Second: The preparatory stage:
The first year of preparatory school (general, deaf-blind, and vocational) starts from Saturday, January 6, until Monday, January 15, 2024.
The second year of preparatory school (general, deaf-blind, and vocational) starts from Tuesday, January 9, until Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
As for the preparatory certificate exams (general, vocational, blind, and deaf), they start from Wednesday, January 17, until Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
Third/Technical secondary education stage in various specializations during the period from Saturday, January 6, until Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
Fourth: The first and second secondary grades for the deaf and hard of hearing during the period from Tuesday, January 9 to January 16, 2024.
The first and second grades of secondary school for the blind start from Saturday, January 6, until Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Fifth: The first year of general secondary school starts from Monday, January 15, 2024 until Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
The second year of general secondary school starts from Sunday, January 14, 2024 until Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
Giza Governorate explained that the external exams for the total and the high-level subject begin on January 2, 3, and 4, 2024.
The Governor of Giza assigned the Director of the Directorate of Education to adhere to the approved schedules and take all necessary measures to provide the appropriate atmosphere for students to take exams easily and conveniently and achieve the goal required for the success of the exam process at all stages and achieve the principle of equal opportunities.
