A 20-year-old Kawasaki driver drove on Alfred-Ley-Straße at around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Here he was subjected to a traffic stop. A preliminary drug test was positive for cocaine and methamphetamine. A blood sample was subsequently taken at the Ilm-Kreis-Klinikum Arnstadt. During further inspections, it was discovered that the 20-year-old does not have a driving license and the motorcycle is not compulsorily insured. Further travel was stopped. Proceedings were initiated against the 20-year-old for violations of the Compulsory Insurance Act and the Road Traffic Act.
