Autopsy Report Reveals Shocking Details About Matthew Perry’s Final Days

CelebritiesThe autopsy report of Matthew Perry, which was obtained by the American ‘Page Six’, paints a bleak picture of his last days. The report states, among other things, that the ‘Friends’ actor was “angry and mean” in the weeks before his death, behavior that stemmed from the use of testosterone injections.

The death of 54-year-old Matthew Perry, who was found by his assistant in his jacuzzi at the end of October, continues to move the world. Especially now that the released 29-page autopsy report sheds new light on the last days of the ‘Friends’ actor, in which a combination of nicotine lollipops, an excessive amount of ketamine and testosterone injections played a role. Although his friends claimed Perry was clean and doing well, the report tells a different story.

For example, his death was caused by multiple factors, including an acute reaction to ketamine and the effects of the opioid-like drug buprenorphine. That drug is normally used for pain relief in drug addicts. The American Dr. Bankole Johnson, a renowned neuroscientist, emphasizes in the report that providing ketamine to someone who is also taking buprenorphine is a dangerous combination.

White powder

Strangely, Perry regularly received ketamine infusions, but the ketamine in his body came from a different source. His last infusion was a week and a half before his death, so he should have had no further impact. Traces of white powder were found in his stomach, which indicates ingestion in pill form. In his 2022 memoir, Perry described his aversion to ketamine and how he often felt like he was “dying” during the treatments. However, his anesthesiologist had already stopped the ketamine treatments because his depression seemed to be under control.

New doctor

The report also reveals that Perry had recently switched to a new doctor who specializes in treatments for addiction and depression. In addition, Perry had been prescribed medication to lose weight. After his death, no alcohol or illegal drugs were found in his home, but several medications, vitamins, and nicotine-containing products, such as lollipops, were found. Viagra and hair loss medications were also present. According to a business partner of Perry’s, it was a mix that caused Matthew to exhibit “angry and mean” behavior in the days and weeks before his death.

Contradictory to this is a confidante’s claim that Perry was in “good spirits” during their last conversation, just days before his death. A statement that was also confirmed by ‘Friends’ colleague Jennifer Aniston, who said that Perry seemed “happy and in good shape” on the morning of his death. But in reality the reality was very different.
