After the company was reorganized, they could respond to the recruitment. Du Wei said that the Taiwan Railways Board of Directors will establish a safety management committee. In addition to setting up an operations safety department within the company organization, it will also set up four business offices in the north, center, south and east to speed up response and establish a safety culture that eliminates concealment.
Du Wei also revealed that the railway restaurant kitchen on the first floor underground of Taipei Station will be built into an international-class passenger service center in the future. It will be completed in two years at the earliest. A large central kitchen will also be built early next year to increase the Taiwan Railway’s lunch box production capacity to about 20,000 units. , which will be launched as early as the end of next year.
