Selina Russo studied “Art, Music and Media: Organization and Communication” at the Philipps University of Marburg. Since graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2010, she has worked in the culture and media industry in the area of ​​press and communication with a focus on online communication and social media. She worked, among other things, for the Musikfest Berlin and Jazzfest Berlin of the Berliner Festspiele, was a press officer at the Music College Hannover and PR manager at the film production company Dog Ear Films. In 2014 she supported the press team of Kulturprojekte Berlin GmbH as part of the major international projects on “25 Years of the Fall of the Wall” and “70 Years of the End of the War”. From 2016 to February 2019 she worked as a consultant for online communication and social media for the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and the associated event, the MEDIA CONVENTION Berlin. Since March 2019 she has been part of the Press and Communication department at the Berlin University of the Arts and is the contact person for the central UdK website and digital communication strategy. From August 2019 to December 2021 she was the ZUV’s part-time women’s representative.
