Harvard Faces Backlash Over Anti-Semitism: Law Firm Boycotts Campus Recruitment

There has been a storm around the prestigious American school Harvard in recent days.

– There needs to be a sea of changes before we will resume our on-campus recruitment of Harvard law students, states the law firm Edelson PC to Fox News.

The company has decided that it will boycott Harvard’s career fair in January, where companies have the opportunity to meet and interview students at the university. Edelson PC says it will also drop a trade show at Harvard in August.

The decision has been taken on the basis that the company believes the school is failing Jewish students, and that not enough is being done to stand up against anti-Semitism at the school.

Fears of growing anti-Semitism at American universities led to the now famous Congress hearing by the chancellors of the University of Pennsylvania, MIT and Harvard last week. Harvard President Claudine Gay has been criticized for being unreasonably reticent when asked whether she would distance herself from anti-Semitic speech at her school.

The White House has been strongly critical of the fact that the principals did not distance themselves more clearly from calls for genocide against Jews. As many as 74 members of Congress have demanded the principals’ resignation. So does Edelson PC.

– Firing Dr. Gay would have been one of the simpler solutions, says the law firm which is now boycotting the school.

Harvard and students at the university have called for Claudine Gay, and say they will not fire her.

Jewish political commentator Ben Shapiro is among those who have criticized Harvard’s president.

– The reason why Claudine Gay is not fired, despite the fact that there is now a solid basis for this, is that she is dark-skinned and “woke”. She secures Harvard too many “diversity points” for them to get rid of her, says Shapiro.

Claudine Gay has also received a lot of criticism recently for having built her career and her qualifications on plagiarism.
