“Hyperjob” is a Latvian startup that develops technological solutions to help companies attract talent. In situations where there are not enough responses to job advertisements or suitable candidates, “Hyperjob” comes to the rescue by attracting candidates or training companies to more successfully organize the recruitment process themselves.
We spoke with Jānis Kreilis, CEO and co-founder of Hyperjob, about how the startup helps its clients in their search for highly qualified labor.
The hiring practices of Latvia’s leading startups and IT companies – “Printful”, “Tietoevry”, “TestDevLab”, “Accenture”, “Lokalise”, “GoCardless”, “Printify” and “Hyperjob” are quite different. How are you looking for new employees?
The main candidate recruitment strategies, similar to other companies, are job posting for candidates to apply for and direct recruitment. The most appropriate approaches and costs are planned depending on the specifics of the vacancy. “If there are very technical, hard-to-fill vacancies, where there are not many candidates, we recommend evaluating how much time and money to invest in advertisements, or perhaps focus only on the direct selection of candidates,” Kreilis explains.
