Manchester City still loses valuable points in the title race after their draw against Crystal Palace (2-2) this afternoon. However, the Skyblues made the break just before the hour mark thanks to goals from Grealish and Lewis. But the Eagles didn’t give up and came back thanks to Mateta (76′) and Olise (95′), from the penalty spot, to snatch the parity score. With only one point collected, Pep Guardiola’s team remains fourth (34 pts) but could see Tottenham overtake them if they succeed. For the other results of the day, Chelsea won 2-0 against Sheffield and returned to success after two defeats in a row. Palmer and Jackson are the scorers for the Blues. Newcastle also won against Fulham (3-0). The Magpies benefited from the expulsion of Jimenez (22′) to advance in the second half with goals from Miley, Almiron and Burn. Finally, the meeting between Bournemouth and Luton was stopped after Tom Lockyer suffered discomfort.
