The Promise Spanish Previews: Cruz wants to kill Elisa
The events of The promise they will gravitate more and more towards Cruz. The woman is about to find herself in really big trouble and all because of Elisa. As the Italian public knows well, this is the third heir designated by Juan, as well as the baron’s former lover. Unable to find information about her, the marquise invites her to the estate to understand who she is dealing with, but immediately the new arrival she professes to be a formidable rival. Cruz decides to eliminate her. Elisa, however, seduces Lorenzo de la mata and manages to ally herself with him.
The Promise Spanish Previews: Cruz discovers Elisa and Lorenzo’s affair
Cruz hatches a plan to kill Elisa: murder her with poisoned tea. At the right moment, however, with an excuse, the baroness doesn’t drink it and this makes the marquise furious. The woman begins to investigate because she believes that Lorenzo is helping the dark lady, but can’t find any evidence. The situation worsens, however, when the wife of Alonso to see the brother-in-law kissing Elisa: She realizes that, at this point, he is helping her and is not on their side. Again, Cruz tries to poison Elisa with some tea, but she doesn’t always drink it.
Alonso doesn’t believe Cruz, in the Iberian anticipations
Furious about the situation, i.e. not being able to poison Elisa, Cruz decides to take strong action and so tries to strangle the baroness. The woman tries to ask for help and scream, but there seems to be no escape for her. Alonsohowever, enters the room and he catches his wife red-handed, thus saving Elisa’s life, who runs away. The marquise justifies herself by saying having seen Lorenzo and the woman intimate and, therefore, he understands that they are plotting behind his back. De Lujan, however, does not seem to believe his wife and believes she has gone mad.
