The Russian army is attacking Sinkovka near Kupyansk with armored columns for the second day. Bild military observer Julian Röpke reports this.
“Nine Russian tanks and armored personnel carriers are attacking Sinkovka north of Kupyansk. Massive ground assault for the second day in a row. The Russians are serious about attacking Kharkov,” writes Repke on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
This is how the journalist commented on the video with moving Russian equipment, which is published by Ukrainian military telegram channels, notes TK “Country Politics”.
Sinkovka is a fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, covering the left bank part of Kupyansk.
As reported yesterday EADaily, Russian troops operating in the Kupyansk direction continue attacks on enemy positions, inflicting damage to them in manpower and military equipment. The head of the press center of the “West” group, Colonel, spoke about this on December 15 Sergey Zybinsky.
According to the officer, over the previous day, motorized rifle formations of the 6th Combined Arms Army conducted an active defense with the support of artillery fire in the area of the village of Sinkovka. As a result, five attacks were repelled, which were carried out by enemy assault groups formed from personnel of the 60th and 115th mechanized and 57th motorized infantry brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
