An 18-year-old teenager was fatally stabbed in Manhattan’s upscale Flatiron District last night.the police said.
The crime happened around 10:40 p.m. on the corner of East 26th Street and Park Avenue South, according to the NYPD. The teenager was stabbed several times and then his attacker fled on foot. A person of interest was later arrested, but has not been charged at this time.
The unidentified victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, he reported. New York Post. Police still do not know what type of weapon the attacker used. It is also unclear what the motive for the attack was or whether the two knew each other.
