Joju George: From Junior Artist to Leading Actor – His Inspirational Journey and Struggle in the Film Industry

Joju George is an actor who fulfilled his dream by acting as a junior artist for twenty-two years with the desire to become a film actor. After playing small roles in many films, Joju’s first full-length role was Leopard and Lambs. Films like 1983, Rajadhiraja and Joseph brought actor Joju to the front of the audience.

Joju says that it took him so long to become an actor because he didn’t know how to act at first. Joju said that he was dropped from many shooting locations that day. Joju said that learning each thing is a big thing. Joju added that he is still learning many things. Joju was speaking in an interview given to the TV channel.

‘When I first started making films, I realized that I was not qualified to be an actor. My dream was to become an actor. But I felt that I was not qualified for it. I don’t have the appropriate dialogue and acting skills to say things,’ said Joju.

When asked if many directors have told you that you are not good at acting, Joju replied that it is true and that he did not have any acting skills at that time.

‘That is true. I was not interested in acting then. I have been dropped from the spot of the shooting location. I’m pretty sure I was kicked out because I wasn’t really acting that day. Because if I had really done it then I would have become a good actor. Learning is a big thing and it is still doing the same today, learning every single thing.
