Neemias Queta Shines in Boston Celtics’ 128-111 Victory Over Orlando Magic

Neemias Queta played almost 20 minutes this Friday night in the Boston Celtics’ 128-111 home win over the Orlando Magic.

The Portuguese basketball player was the only center available in the Massachusetts team, given the absences of Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford and Luke Kornet, and ended up having, in the fourth game, the longest time used by the Celtics in a game in which he was even excluded, in the last period, after the sixth foul.

Queta finished the game with four points (two out of three), three rebounds, one assist, one steal, one turnover and three tackles, a new NBA career record.

During the 18.18 minutes that the Portuguese center was on the field, the Celtics, the best team in the regular phase with 19 wins and five losses, had a positive balance of 13 points.

In one of the other games of the night, the highlight was a new duel between the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers (the second in a row), with the victory this time going to the Texans by 129-115. Victor Wembanyama closed the match with a double double (13 points, 15 rebounds and five assists), but it was Devin Vassell, with 36 points, who stood out and helped put an end to a dark series of 18 (!) defeats .

On the Lakers side, LeBron James added 23 points, 14 assists and seven rebounds. Anthony Davis was left out.
