The incident took place around 5:30 am. Images show damage to the front door of the building on Hobbemaplein. The windows were blown off the door.

There have been a striking number of explosions at homes and buildings throughout the country this year. On Friday evening it was announced that the South Holland city of Vlaardingen is increasing security in the Oostwijk district due to the recent explosions there.
