Big bundle
Stewart found a pill box full of bills.
– Massive money find, he writes in the Facebook post.
In the box was a whopping 7,000 Australian dollars – i.e. close to NOK 50,000.
– I don’t think it was meant to be thrown away. Found it in the bottom drawer of an old shelf section, he writes.
He explains that people don’t need to worry about whether he returned the money or not.
– The money was reunited with its owner, and I received a generous tip, he says.

To the Australian tabloid website News.com.auStewart says he found the pillbox when he was clearing out the shelf section for scrap.
The owner of the shelf section was an elderly lady.
– I took a look in a drawer, and there was a small, black box. I lifted it up and it was a little heavy. I saw a big bundle of money. It was madness, he says.
He says he really wanted to keep the money, but…
– I didn’t know what to do with them. I’m not going to lie – I kind of wanted to keep them, he says.
Raises eyebrows
Got NOK 2,000
Stewart says he gave the woman the money back.
She gave him 300 Australian dollars, i.e. just over NOK 2,000 – in finder’s pay.
– This is the best I have found so far, he says.
