This is done to slow the spread of germs, the COVID-19 virus, flu, pneumonia and other respiratory pathogens that have the potential to threaten health.

However, as reported by JawaPos.com from Nationwide Children, Friday (15/12), for babies or children under 2 years of age, masks cannot be used because of the breathing difficulties they will face.

Babies and children under 2 years of age have smaller airways, so breathing through a mask will be more difficult for them than for older children or adults.

For this reason, there are several other ways to protect babies and children under 2 years of age from infectious respiratory diseases without a mask.
