The Coperni fall-winter 2023-2024 fashion show
After marking 2022 with Bella Hadid, Covered returns in 2023 with robots, which interact with models for their fall-winter 2023-2024 show. Inspired by the poem The wolf and the lamb by Jean de La Fontaine, the parade offers a parable on the fears of Man in the face of the rise in power of machines. In the role of wolves, the robot dogs engage in real choreography and demonstrate, in the process, their ability to coexist with humans rather than simply devouring them alive.

Jacquemus’ Le Chouchou fashion show
The Palace of Versailles in the background, the tandem Gigi Hadid et Kendall Jenner on the catwalk, sexy Marie-Antoinette-style looks, Victoria and David Beckham, Raw Alejandro et Monica Bellucci among the guests… is it really necessary to explain why the Le chouchou fashion show of Jacques is iconic?

The Viktor and Rolf haute couture fall-winter 2023-2024 show
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of their house, the designer duo Viktor and Rolf delights its guests with a necessarily extravagant show. Besides the fact of only composing its collection of swimwear with surreal cuts, some models are accompanied by a most destabilizing accessory: inanimate men in tuxedos devoid of heads. Like an ex determined not to let go, they cling to them, desperately.

The Louis Vuitton pre-fall 2023 show in Seoul
We can no longer count the number of spectacular parades offered by Nicolas Ghesquière in ten years of career at Louis Vuitton. For the pre-fall 2023 collection, direction Seoul, and more precisely the Jamsu bridge, with a futuristic and stripped-down scenography by Hwang Dong-Hyuk (director of Squid Game). Amid the jets of water and blue lights projected between the arches of the bridge and evoking an allegory of transformation, the pieces mix classic French style and avant-garde K-Fashion.

The Dior men’s spring-summer 2024 show
To celebrate five years as artistic director of Dior’s men’s collections, Kim Jones imagine a parade worthy of its success. Rather than a traditional catwalk, the models emerge from the ground thanks to a set of moving hydraulic platforms. Always humble about the history of the French house, the English designer celebrates his predecessors with a men’s collection imbued with couture details, which draw on signed archives Yves Saint Laurent (1957-1960), Marc Bohan (1960-1989), Gianfranco Ferré (1989-1996) and, of course, Christian Dior (1946-1957) himself.

A few weeks before FKA Twigs at the Beaux Arts in Paris, Valentino seized the Chantilly castle to present its fall-winter 2023-2024 haute couture collection. The Alaïa winter-spring 2024 fashion show
Quickly becoming essential, Pieter Mulier confirms his talent with a Alaïa winter-spring 2024 fashion show organized on the Léopold-Sédar-Senghor footbridge. A timeless moment, for a collection that explores the notion of fetishism in fashion as the setting sun illuminates the French capital. “On a bridge – which seems to link the origins of the Alaïa house and its present – the silhouettes cross in an eternal movement. Their march is associated with the eternal ticking of the great human clock. The sound of time, which is also the rhythm of life.” In addition, the Belgian also improvises as a poet.

The Mugler spring-summer 2024 show
For the return home Muggles to the Fashion Week from Paris last October, Casey Cadwallader sees things big. A decor that is half concert hall and half rave party garage, a strobe light and deafening electro music and above all XXL fans. These, making hair and fabric and just about anyone who came near them fly, take the level of glamor to its peak. And there was glamor on the podium, with the top models Mariacarla Boscano, Amber Valletta et Helena Christensen, or even the actress Angela Bassett. Climax of the show, the passage of the iconic it-girl Paris Hiltonwhich triggers public hysteria.

The Boss spring-summer 2024 fashion show
Significant moment of the Fashion Week of Milan last September, the parade Boss fall-winter 2023-2024 operates a real good in the – near – future, while robots become ultra-intelligent bureaucrats in an open space 2.0. If the message remains vague (is it a criticism of an overly routine active life?), the collection, for its part, celebrates the heritage of the German brand and plays on the trend officewear through tailoring looks with unstructured, even avant-garde cuts.
