Zug schools want to place more emphasis on cultural education. Cultural workers with ideas can apply to the city until February 25th.

From the next school year there will be high-quality cultural offerings at Zug city schools. The offer applies from kindergarten to high school. “We want to enable all students to get to know and experience as many different cultural sectors as possible during their compulsory school career and to help shape projects,” says Remo Krummenacher, Rector of the Zug City Schools.
Through the project, schools and the cultural scene network in a productive exchange, according to the city. Interested teachers are responsible for this at schools. Such cultural leaders already exist in many other cities. Interested artists and cultural workers can submit their offer until February 25, 2024 via the Contribution portal to the city of Zug.
Workshops, guided tours, encounters and participatory projects: all of this could be possible for Zug students from next year. The decision as to which offers are used is made by those responsible for culture and experts, writes the city. In the future, the city will advertise cultural education offerings every year.
