The sports streaming provider Dazn wants to advance its own expansion with the help of another round of investment. Dazn would like to raise up to $1 billion in new capital.

In the highly competitive sports broadcasting rights market, Dazn has recently had broadcasting rights for A league and for those UEFA Women’s Champions League shown. Dazn also has rights for games NFL as well as for the Professional Fights League. Dazn has become one of the most popular channels in boxing in recent years.
Despite the already extensive rights, it is currently still unclear in which areas the new, possibly billion-dollar investments should flow. Ultimately, Dazn invested little in the newly awarded rights for the Premier League as well as in the new NBA broadcast contract.
