The Government of Risaralda, through the Departmental Secretariat of Education, carried out the installation of the last technical table of the Regional Education Plan of the Coffee Axis for 2023, in which representatives of the education secretariats of the Coffee Axis and liaisons from the Ministry of National Education, where the progress and goals achieved during the year and their fulfillment in educational matters were analyzed and reviewed.
In the development of the table, the proposal made by the Technology University of Pereira to create a Regional Education Observatory was known, which was socialized and well received by the representatives.
This education observatory, as indicated by Cesar Sabas, representative of the Technological University, “will allow us to carry out a rigorous evaluation, establish a thinking tank, in which we can generate value and apply some important communication strategies and position the regional education plan so that “can have an important impact on the development plans of the departments.”
For her part, the leader of the educational planning area of the Risaralda Education Secretariat and coordinator of the regional table, Martha Lucía Castaño, was satisfied with the task and commitment that each of the actors have had to carry out this important project. much needed education.

For his part, the territorial manager for the coffee axis of the Ministry of National Education Carlos Alfonso Ortiz, who was part of the regional education plan table, applauded the management and effort that the current departmental administration has made to provide and guarantee quality education for the boys, girls, adolescents and young people of Risaralda, finally, the manager called on the incoming administrations to give all their attention to this observatory.
