(PLO) – Despite growth in November, Honda City is still being promoted by dealers and car companies with strong incentives this December to race for sales in the B-class sedan segment.
Following the growth of the auto market last November, the car series continues to have discounts and incentives this December.
Honda City offers strong incentives
Honda City 2023 is a car model assembled in Vietnam, so it is also eligible for a 50% reduction in registration fees this last month. This B-class sedan competes directly with Toyota Vios, Hyundai Accent, Mitsubishi Attrage, Kia Soluto.
Honda City 2023 G version costs 559 million VND, the price of L version is 589 million VND. The most expensive is the RS version with a price of 609 million VND, some typical colors have a slightly higher selling price of 4-5 million VND.
This December, Honda City 2023 will receive 100% registration fee support, including 50% from the Government and 50% from Honda Vietnam.
That means, car customers will save money from 55.9 to 73.08 million VND (depending on version and province and city).
Honda City entered the top best-selling cars in 2023?
According to the sales report of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), considering the segment B class sedan, the total number of cars sold in November only reached 4,650 cars. Most car models have increased compared to October (4,223 vehicles) but are still lower than the same period in 2022 (November 2022 reached 5,741 vehicles).
Notably, Hyundai Accent defeated Toyota Vios this November and continued to hold the top position with sales of 1,686 Hyundai Accent units, an increase of 14.4% compared to the previous month.
With this achievement, Accent maintains its No. 1 position in the segment and is Hyundai’s best-selling car model of the month. Cumulatively in 2023, Hyundai Accent will have 14,700 vehicles successfully leaving dealerships.
Second place belongs to Toyota Vios with sales of 1,556 vehicles, an increase of 6.3% compared to October (1,463 vehicles). From the beginning of 2023 until now, Vios has had a total of 10,499 vehicles delivered to Vietnamese customers. Thus, with only one month left to race for sales in 2023, it is likely that Toyota Vios will continue to take second place in the B-class sedan segment.
With sales reaching 884 cars, up 17.7% month-on-month, Honda City continues to hold the 3rd position in the B-class sedan segment. After 11 months of 2023, Honda City has 8,391 cars sold on the market. With steady sales growth like this, Honda City is also likely to enter the top selling cars of 2023.
Mitsubishi Attrage recorded a decline in sales when it sold 425 cars in November 2023, down 13 cars compared to the previous month. Cumulatively in 2023, Mitsubishi Attrage will reach 4,495 vehicles.
The 5th position belongs to Kia Soluto with 95 cars sold on the market in November, cumulative 2023 is 955 cars.
The bottom position is Suzuki Ciaz, remaining at 4 cars. Accumulated until November 2023, this model only sold 36 cars.
