It’s about Fabio Fassioowner of The Lady in Red in Nizza Monferrato, who participated in a very eventful episode set in Asti, during the seventh season.
An episode full of chaos where the competing restaurateurs accused each other over dishes that tasted like “sweat of cane”, hair on the plate “put on purpose” and snails spat out. The episode of the spitting snail itself raised a fuss, but Fassio he told his truth to Fanpage: “I spat twice, but only once on my plate. In the episode it is not clear why they combined the images during editing, but the first bite was a semi-raw, unpurged snail. I felt the nerve in my mouth, I retched, it was an instinctive reaction. The second time, however, it was rabbit tuna, which I didn’t like at all, but which I spat into the napkin, like a civilized person. I’m not a ‘serial spitter’.”
