For the 125th anniversary of the Alliance Française of New York, created in 1898, the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) saw things big by organizing a splendid gala dinner at the Plaza Hotel, facing Central Park.
For this great anniversary of the Alliance Française of New York, created in 1898, the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) saw things big. Faithful to its mission to promote our language and our culture, particularly within its Institute which attracts more than 100,000 visitors per year, the FIAF and its talented president Tatyana Franck have prepared a program available all year round, the climax of which was celebrated with an exclusive cocktail at Corice Arman, widow of the famous sculptor, a “carte blanche” to the Cameroonian artist Pascale Marthine Tayou, then a gala dinner on the theme of Versailles in the spectacular Grand Ballroom of the Plaza hotel , facing Central Park. During the evening, Bruno Pavlovsky, fashion president of Chanel, received the Golden Pillar, while actress Carole Bouquet was awarded the Arts Trophy from the famous institution. The guests then enjoyed a dinner inspired by the work of Nicolas Kenedi, and prepared by starred chefs Stéphanie Le Quellec and Yannick Alléno, before going dancing at Doubles with DJ Alexandra Richards on the decks…
