The Slovak scored for the first time after nine matches and for the sixth time in his 17th meeting. Before that, he last scored a point on November 18th when he scored against the NY Islanders.

Before that, he last scored a point on November 18th when he scored against the NY Islanders. He spent 11:57 minutes on the ice and scored a plus, two hits and two shots on goal. His compatriot and teammate Ružička played 8:06 minutes with three shots.
“It was an even match, in the third period the home team turned the score around, but we managed to extract at least a point” evaluated the coach of the “flames” Ryan Huska, whose team lost the fifth of the past six meetings.
The Penguins like to play against Arizona
The Penguins won their eleventh straight game against Arizona. The guests recorded their fourth loss in a row, the hosts ended an equally unfavorable streak against the Coyotes. Home goalkeeper Connor Ingram achieved a 93 percent success rate with 40 saves despite conceding three goals. His Slovakian teammate Kelemen had his second lowest ice time in the NHL when he played only 5:53 minutes and had one shot on goal.
Tampa took the lead against Vancouver after 95 seconds thanks to Brayden Point, but did not add another goal. Less than five minutes later, Andrej Kuzmenko equalized, followed by a clean hat trick from his teammate Brock Boeser, who thus has 21 accurate hits in the season.
Černak played in an elite formation and spent 18:39 minutes on the ice. He finished the game with a minus, two holding penalty minutes and gave up three hits. “It’s amazing, especially compared to last season,” was looking forward to Boeser, who had a balance of 18 goals in 74 duels last year. He already has five hat-tricks in the NHL.

“I have to continue to focus on what brings me success. I work hard every day and I want to help my team win.”
Matthews’ four-pointer silenced Madison Square
Auston Matthews was the main star of Toronto in the victorious meeting on the ice of the NY Rangers. He scored two goals and two assists in the 7-3 triumph, it was his first four-point night of the season. He scored seven goals in the past five matches.
“I feel like I’ve got the right rhythm,” said the American striker after the match, who is the competition’s top scorer with Boeser. Both have 21 accurate hits. Mitchell Marner added two hits and an assist for Matthews. Blake Wheeler scored twice for the Rangers, Mika Zibanejad had a 1+1 record. Artemij Panarin had one assist for the home team and it was his 700th point in the NHL (232+468), his teammate Jacob Trouba reached the goal of 300 points (72+228).
The Red Wings saw off another team’s second coach
Hockey players St. Louis lost at home to Detroit 4:6, and after the fourth loss in a row, Craig Berube was fired as their coach. He was replaced by Drew Bannister, who until now worked as Springfield’s coach in the AHL. Berube has been on the Bluesmen’s bench since November 2019, and in the same season he led them to win the Stanley Cup. His team is now in sixth place in the Central Division.
It is interesting that Berube is the second coach who had to be removed from the bench during this season just after the game with Detroit. The first one was Dean Evason from the Minnesota Wild after a 1:4 defeat on the ice of the Red Wings.
Edmonton is already reaching for playoff positions
Connor McDavid extended his point streak to 10 games, with two assists to help Edmonton beat Chicago 4-1. During this streak, he scored 25 points (6+19). Connor Bedard, a draft pick from this year, scored the guests’ only goal. It was his twelfth goal of the season, he has the same number of assists. For Bedard, it was the first duel against McDavid, the number one pick in the 2015 draft.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to catch in the NHL and for the fact that the coaching staff and the guys believe in me. To add a clean sheet against such a quality team is very special for me.” said the 27-year-old goalkeeper.
San Jose players won the third of the last four meetings, beating Winnipeg 2:1 at home. The decisive goal was scored by Swedish forward William Eklund in a power play in the 56th minute. The guests ended their four-game winning streak.
