Libreville, Monday December 11, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – The Head of State and his wife took part yesterday in the commemoration of the rosewood wedding anniversary of the creation of this diocese located in Ngounié.
Passing through Ngounié, the President of the Republic and his wife took part yesterday in the commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Diocese of Mouila. The Oligui Nguema couple thus took part in the celebration presided over at the Saint-Jean Apostle Cathedral in Mouila by the Apostolic Nuncio of Gabon and Congo, Mgr Javier Herrera Corona. The event gave rise to a jubilee expressing religious gratitude for a year of grace.
After this moment of piety, the presidential couple visited a center housing affected families in Mouila. The head of state promised the saddened people extensive assistance. Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema also discussed provincial challenges with the driving forces of Ngounié and announced urgent solutions, including infrastructure projects and economic measures for development.
