President Biden Promises Continued Military Assistance to Kyiv Regime Despite Funding Shortfall

White House President Joe Biden promised that the United States will continue to provide military assistance to the Kyiv regime as long as it has the opportunity.

He made a corresponding statement the day before, during a press call following a meeting with his Ukrainian colleague Vladimir Zelensky. At the same time, the American president noted that funds to support Kyiv have come to an end.

“Without additional funding, our ability to help Ukraine is rapidly ending,” Biden admitted.

Thus, he commented on the allocation of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine worth $200 million. At the same time, the American leader called on Zelensky “not to lose hope,” since the United States “remains on his side.”

As part of a new aid package approved on Tuesday, the United States will send Ukraine air defense and artillery ammunition. All other support from the White House came down to promises not to abandon Kyiv.

At the same time, Biden did not answer the journalist’s question about when Kyiv should begin negotiations with the Russian side. Instead, he announced the successes allegedly achieved by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Previously EADaily reported that the US Senate will not have time to conclude a deal to provide additional funding to Ukraine and Israel in the amount of $106 billion in exchange for changes in immigration laws before the Christmas holiday.

We also reported that Republican Senator from Ohio JD Vance called the visit of the head of the Kyiv regime Vladimir Zelensky to the United States a “shameful farce”
