Zima Software today released a remaster of the classic Czech adventure game Polda 2, the full name is Polda 2 remástr. The original game was released in 1999 and has also been available on smartphones for some time, similar to other installments in the series.
The redesigned second Polda offers new graphics in 4K resolution. The music has also been reworked. Both folders can be switched in-game, so you can see how the title looked and sounded originally. On the contrary, the dubbing remained original, so it has a worse and period quality. It also includes a built-in tutorial and highlighting of active items and zones and combo options.
Polda 2 Remaster is available on Steam for less than 15 euros, about 360 crowns. Under the title Detective Hayseed – The Cloning Madness is also available in English.
The authors are also preparing an expansion for the remade second Poldo, which was not part of any work. The chapter will be called How Pankrác Became a Private Eye and will bridge the second and third parts. In number two, the main character is still part of the police force, from number three he already works as a detective.
Regional Police it already has seven volumes, the last one came out last year. The authors have been saying for a long time that they want to work on further sequels, but it depends on the financial situation. 1.8 million were collected for the remaster of the two that HitHitu.
