Details of a new attempt to create a single television pool in the Ukrainian Premier League have become known.
Let us remind you that this summer the teams were unable to agree on a unified format for broadcasting matches of the Ukrainian championship. As a result, most of the games in the first half of the season were shown by Megogo, and the rest were shown by the YouTube channels of UPL clubs.
TaToTake reports that at today’s meeting of UPL participants, the UPL TV project was considered in the form of a linear channel with international distribution with the participation of foreign OTT partners, including Setanta and DAZN.
The project provides:
– distribution of the channel in Ukraine and abroad;
– the presence of a TV channel registered in Ukraine for broadcasting using the Internet, creating your own multi-platform OTT service with broadcasts and additional content.
According to the source, currently 10 clubs have voted “For” this format of UPL TV.
