Apple has also introduced new features in its iMessages text messaging application. Apple also tried to add a new way for users to express themselves and their personalities by allowing interaction with a specific message within a conversation, through stickers, by long-pressing on the message they want to interact with and choosing Add Sticker.
With the iOS 17.2 update, the company also allows users to change the body shape of any virtual Memoji character.
With the new update, the features of Contact Key Verification and Contact Verification Codes have also arrived, which allow the user to receive automatic notifications that alert him if someone is eavesdropping on the conversation. The company postponed the arrival of two new features to 2024. The first is for creating lists that share music on Apple Music, which allows friends to participate in adding songs to the same song list, but the postponement is due to the company’s concern that the feature will turn into a means of annoying users.
The second postponed feature is AirPlay for Hotels, which allows the user to play iPhone content on TVs in a number of hotels, using scanning QR codes.
